Geometry & Topology Seminar: "Diffusive Billiard Models"

Abstract: I will first discuss how geometric properties could affect  diffusion  properties of billiard systems, essentially through the Feynman–Kac formula. Several categories of diffusive hyperbolic systems will be reviewed, which includes classical billiards, billiards under random or deterministic perturbations, systems with micro-geometric structure.
