Geometry & Topology Seminar: "Lie Theory and Numerical Integration II"

Abstract: We discuss how numerical integration on manifolds has motivated the study of "pre-Lie" and "post-Lie" algebras, and how these algebras are related to the geometry of affine connections and the combinatorics of rooted trees. (Second of 2 planned talks.)
