Abstract: For the first Szego Szeminar this semester, we'll discuss some of the basic theory of Dirichlet series. In particular, we'll define spaces analogous to the Hardy space on the disk and the disk algebra, and discuss issues of convergence, particularly on boundaries. This talk is meant to give background to those who will attend my analysis seminar talk on the 31st, so it will be at a beginner's level.
