Algebraic Geometry Seminar: "Intersection Theory on the Hilbert Scheme of Points in the Projective Plane"

Abstract: In my thesis, I prove that there are algorithms to compute intersection products on the Hilbert scheme in a basis which is defined by incidence conditions with fixed lines and points. I will define this basis and describe the algorithms as well as some of the details that go into proving the results.
