Minor Oral: "Noncommutative function theory and the inverse function theorem"

Abstract: We introduce the theory of nc functions defined on tuples of matrices of all sizes. These functions are naturally defined on nc sets, which can be equipped with various topologies. Once a few basic properties and derivative formulas are established, we will prove the inverse function theorem for nc functions. If time permits, we will discuss a generalization of nc functions to functions defined on operator tuples.
