Major Oral: "Noncommutative Functions on Operator Domains"

Abstract: Noncommutative functions defined on domains consisting of tuples of operators on an infinite dimensional Hilbert space are introduced.  We prove an inverse function theorem in this setting and discuss other results which have analogues in the classical matrix case.
